It seems that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have received a lot of media attention over their breakup rumors. Jennifer is also awaiting the release of her new sci-fi film Atlas, in which she plays Atlas Shepherd. in an interview with PeopleJennifer said she connected with the character in a way that she too was ‘misunderstood’ like him. In the interview, she said, “We’re so different because she’s so… not very expressive of her emotions. She’s very closed off and I’m very emotional sometimes. But at the same time we’re both very strong and sure of what we feel. At times. She was very reassuring. She would say, ‘This is what’s happening, please listen to me. Please tell me.’ And at times she was very misunderstood. I can relate to that a little bit too.”
‘Sometimes I have a lot of doubts…’
She added, “I’m sure about what I want and sometimes I’m not. Sometimes I doubt myself a lot, but I follow my instincts more than anything and I think when I go against it, I go wrong.” Atlas will be released on Netflix on May 24.
Jennifer’s comments come at a time when there is speculation that she and Ben Affleck are heading for divorce. Jennifer Lopez attended the premiere of Atlas without Ben. She also appeared alone at the Met Gala earlier this month. Her interaction with a reporter that evening also sparked debate online, where she was called out for being rude and showing an inappropriate attitude.
Meanwhile, Ben and Jennifer were also spotted separately house hunting in LA. Ben was spotted without his wedding ring, sparking further conversation. They were initially engaged in 2002 but their relationship broke up after two years. They rekindled their romance and got married in July 2022.
