Director Karthik Subbaraj released the first shot of the film on Sunday. surya 44Announcing his upcoming film ‘Suriya’ with Surya, he revealed that the film has gone on the floors.

The first shot shows Surya, dressed in a funky T-shirt and jeans, sitting on a wall facing the sea. As we get closer, he turns and faces the camera, revealing his new look with a moustache.

Earlier on Sunday, the makers of the film announced that actors Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George and Karunakaran have joined the cast of the film.

Meanwhile, the film’s team includes cinematographer Shreyas Krishna, editor Shafiq Mohammed, art director Jackson, action choreographer Kecha Khamphakdi and costume designer Praveen Raja.

surya 44 Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music. Karthik is also co-producing the film under his Stone Bench Films banner in association with Suriya’s 2D Entertainment.
