American actor Armie Hammer has been accused of sexual assault, violence and even cannibalistic fantasies. All charges against the actor have been dropped due to insufficient evidence. Recently, call me by your name the star appeared Piers Morgan Uncensored where he spoke candidly about the allegations. When asked if he was a cannibal, Armie replied, “You know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to actually eat somebody.” Host Piers Morgan also explicitly asked Armie if he had “eaten human flesh.” To this, he replied, “No. Well, I never thought I’d have to answer that question. But no, never.”
Talking about his exchange of messages with his ex-girlfriend Effie Angelova, which hinted at him being a cannibal, Armie Hammer said, “It was a very intense affair, very sexually charged, between two people with very similar tendencies and perversions. Any of the conversations that we had inside that relationship, when you take them out of that context and put them in a broader light, don’t look so good.”
Armie also confessed that he used “drugs” while he was in a relationship with Effie. It’s also worth noting that Armie was married to Elizabeth Chambers while he was dating Effie. The couple got divorced last year.
Courtney Vucekovich, the CEO of the Flashd app, has also accused Armie Hammer of sexual harassment. When Piers Morgan showed a video of Courtney describing how the actor abused her, Armie said, “I disagree with the nature of our relationship and the way it’s being described… There are people I left who were hurt and who were upset. None of those people were hurt or upset that I crossed any sexual boundaries that they weren’t interested in exploring or trying.”
During the same conversation, Armie Hammer also denied reports that claimed Robert Downey Jr. paid for his rehab. Armie said, “He didn’t pay for my rehab… I don’t want to put anybody else in my situation. There are a lot of people who have been extremely helpful, and I’m very grateful to them.” According to Armie, Robert Downey Jr. “was helpful in the way that I was able to be with him.” [when] Anybody in Hollywood who suffers from any type of addiction — whether it’s alcohol or drug addiction — decides to get sober, that man will find you, and he will help you.”
Armie also quoted Robert Downey Jr. as telling him, “Sit down, keep quiet, and everything will be fine.”
