New Delhi: Famous Bollywood actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan once again caught everyone’s attention with her stunning appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. On her first day at the prestigious event, she wore a dazzling black and gold custom-made Falguni Shane Peacock gown with puffed sleeves. The actress was also seen wearing a white cast cover-up as her arm was injured.

However, it seems her looks failed to impress netizens. One user wrote: She is very beautiful, intelligent, elegant. Why are these so called designers wearing her clothes to ridicule her? Another person said: So many fillers, nails don’t look good and hair becomes a mess. the dress is bad fitting

She walked the red carpet at the 77th Cannes Film Festival on May 16 in a black fish-cut gown decorated with intricate golden flowers, voluminous ruffled sleeves and a long train. The actress was seen wearing statement golden earrings.

Aishwarya Rai has been a regular at Cannes since 2002, making every year special. At that time she wore a saree designed by famous designer Neeta Lulla.

Apart from Aishwarya, other Bollywood beauties including Kiara Advani, Shobhita Dhulipala and Aditi Rao Hydari are set to walk the red carpet at Cannes 2024 this year.

On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s pan-Indian film Ponniyin Selvan: II.
