On hosting her first charity gala, Alia said, “Hosting my inaugural charity gala in collaboration with Salaam Bombay Foundation and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has been an incredible experience. I have long been a fan of Padmini Sekhsaria for uplifting at-risk youth. I have been praising his unwavering dedication.” The slums of India provide them with hope and opportunity. I am delighted to play a small role in shaping these children’s stories, moreover, it is a real privilege to hold the Hope Gala at such an iconic venue, as I have always been a fan of Mandarin Oriental’s exceptional hospitality. “Today is the beginning of our efforts, and with the support of our generous contributors, I am confident we will make significant progress in empowering future generations.”

One of my favorite moments in the film came from an improvisation at the end of a take where she took an emotional thread and ran with it,” Tom wrote.
