Mumbai: After Rihanna and Katy Perry performed at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding ceremonies, now Canadian singer-songwriter Justin Bieber has also joined the list of enthralling guests at the much-anticipated wedding.

The Canadian pop star along with his entourage landed at the Mumbai airport in the wee hours of Friday.

Wearing a pink sweatshirt, blue loose pants and a red bucket hat, Bieber was seen leaving the airport and getting into a car.

Bieber, known for hit songs like ‘Baby’, ‘Sorry’ and ‘Never Say Never’, will reportedly perform at Anant and Radhika’s concert.

Ananth and Radhika’s sangeet ceremony will be held on Friday, July 5th.

The couple is set to tie the knot on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

Bieber’s first concert in India took place in 2017. He was scheduled to return to the country in 2022, but the tour was cancelled due to the singer’s ill health.

As a part of the wedding celebrations, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani organised a mass marriage for the underprivileged at Swami Vivekananda Vidyamandir in Palghar on 2 July.

On July 3, the Ambani family hosted a grand Mameru ceremony – a Gujarati wedding tradition where the bride’s maternal uncle visits her home with sweets and gifts.

The wedding festivities have been planned very carefully, following traditional Hindu Vedic rituals. The main celebrations will begin on Friday, July 12 with the Shubh Vivaah or wedding ceremony and according to sources, guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the occasion by wearing traditional Indian attire.

The celebrations will continue with Shubh Ashirvad on Saturday, July 13. The final event, Mangal Utsav or the wedding ceremony, is scheduled for Sunday, July 14. For this grand occasion, guests have been asked to wear ‘Indian chic’.

Radhika Merchant, daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant and entrepreneur Shaila Merchant, is set to join the Ambani family, marking the union of two prominent industrialist families.

Earlier this year, the couple held a series of pre-wedding ceremonies in Jamnagar which was attended by several stars from across the world as guests.

Business leaders, heads of state and celebrities from Hollywood and Bollywood were present on the occasion.

Special guests included Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and Ivanka Trump.

The highlight of the pre-wedding function was a spectacular performance by pop singer Rihanna, which was her first performance in India.

The three-day extravaganza also featured world-renowned magician David Blaine, who wowed guests with his incredible tricks.

Bollywood stars and family members attended the concert, which also saw a special appearance by actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh, enthralling the audience.
