The Jolie-Pitt family drama is far from over. Amid growing tensions over several of the former Hollywood couple’s children dropping their father Brad Pitt’s last name, a near-fatal accident has also left them going through a series of unexpected emotions.
Angelina and Brad’s son Pax Jolie was recently hospitalized with head injuries after the 20-year-old’s e-bike collided with a car due to not wearing a helmet. Despite the heartbreaking path the family has been on, Pitt still has no direct contact with his son, with sources saying the Salt actress has “completely shut him out” given the Troy actor’s alleged “history of physical abuse,” leaving him without a good example as a father.
An insider, presumably familiar with Brad’s side of the story, launched an even more scathing attack against Jolie, claiming she “poisoned the kids against Brad.”
Brad Pitt ‘practically out of the picture’ for his family
“From Brad’s point of view, it’s absurd for her to place any blame on him,” a source told InTouchWeekly. “She’s there day to day, he’s barely around because she’s shut him out completely and poisoned the kids against him.”

The anonymous source also revealed that Pitt “would love to spend more time being there for Pax and all the kids, but she’s managed to turn them so against him that he’s practically out of the picture.”
The source added, “So to suddenly try to make him a scapegoat when something goes wrong is completely unfair.” The person commenting on the issue described Pax’s crash as an “accident” while the family was in a “state of shock.”
Finding some common ground, the source added, “It’s a shame that even now these two are finding a way to use this against each other. Whenever something goes wrong, they automatically blame each other.”
Is Brad Pitt in touch with his kids?
As Pitt and Jolie continue to fight over a French winery, she has no contact with her older children. Although she still has the legal right to spend time with the younger children, her interactions with them have been limited in recent months due to her filming.

Years later, Pitt has reunited with George Clooney for Wolves, one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Although the film hasn’t hit theaters yet, a sequel is already in the works.

Pax’s scary accident happened in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles on July 29. Eyewitness Lola Cavalli told ET that she tried to put pressure on his head to stop the bleeding. Though she didn’t see “a lot of blood” coming from his head at the time, she did notice “his mouth was full of blood” when he tried to speak.
