OTH Artists’ Charity Game helped lead stars earn Golden Anthem Awards for their social impact work. KK Palmer and Padma Lakshmi were also honoured.
Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty, Google’s ‘Black-Owned Friday’ along with Keke Palmer, Padma Lakshmi and Governors Tim Walz and Wes Moore, among others, were honored as recipients of the 2024 Anthem Award. On November 19, Variety and Billboard were the first to report on the issue, as US-based media outlets revealed the winners of the fourth edition of the awards series presented by the Webby Awards to celebrate social impact work.
“This year’s Anthem Award winners are important reminders of the many inspiring and courageous leaders around us who are committed to making change,” Patricia McLaughlin, general manager of the Anthem Awards, said in a statement Tuesday. “Their vital efforts for a stronger, more just and equitable tomorrow are incredible, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support and uplift their efforts.”

The inaugural Anthem Awards launched in 2021 to highlight deserving recipients around the world. The Webby Awards teamed up with the Ad Council, Born This Way Foundation, Feeding America, GLAAD, Mozilla, NAACP, NRDC, WWF and XQ to establish this event.
