Operators of such platforms running social media should also realize that these platform-managed publications are motivated and also against the norms developed by one of them which relate to abuse/harassment in which subscribers are warned that They cannot share offensive content, engage in targeted harassment of someone, or incite other people to do the same.

My client informs those spreading hate and sharing defamatory content to remove the objectionable content within the next one hour and maximum 24 hours time period, he/she will be booked for appropriate criminal defamation case under section 356 of the Indian Justice Code You will be advised to register. 2023 and in such case the offenders may be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years with or without fine as may be determined by the court under Section 356(2) of the said Act.

8. This notice is specifically addressed to individuals and entities operating on platforms including, but not limited to, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Facebook and online news portals. Non-compliance will result in legal action at your own cost and risk.
