Mumbai: Saira Rahman, wife of Oscar and Grammy-winning music composer AR Rahman, recently underwent surgery after a medical emergency.

Saira issued a statement through her lawyer Vandana Shah, and informed people about her health status.

The statement wrote, “On behalf of our customer, Mrs. Saira Rahman, Vandana Shah and Associates issued the following statements about her current health status. A few days ago Mrs. Saira Rahman was admitted to the hospital due to a medical emergency, and surgery was done. During this challenging time, his only attention is on a quick recovery ”.

He further read, “She appreciates the people around him deeply of anxiety and support and requests many of her well-wishers and supporters to pray for her good. Mrs. Saira Rahman would also like to express his heartfelt gratitude to her friends with Los Angeles, Rezul Pookutty and his wife Shadia, as well as Vandana Shah and Shri Rahman for their unwavering support during this difficult time. He is really grateful to his kindness and encouragement. Lord Mrs. Saira Rahman also wants privacy during this period and thanks his supporters and well -wishers for understanding ”.

Earlier, AR Rahman and Saira Banu participated in a manner 29 years after living together. Saira cited emotional stress as the reason behind divorce. This stress has given rise to an unsafe difference between the couple.

Saira’s lawyer Vandana issued an official statement regarding the couple’s decision to separate the time. The statement said, “After many years of marriage, Mrs. Saira has taken a difficult decision to separate from her husband Mr. R Rahman. This decision comes after significant emotional stress in their relationship. Despite their deep love for each other, the couple found that stress and difficulties have created an inaccessible difference between them, one that neither the party feels capable of bridge at this time ”.

“Mrs. Saira insisted that she has put this decision out of pain and suffering. Mrs. Saira requested the public for privacy and understanding during this challenging time, as she navigates this difficult chapter in her life.

Rahman and Saira tied the knot through a systematic marriage in 1995. They are parents of daughters Khatija, Rahema and son Amin. Rahman’s son R Amin, who is also a singer, took to his Instagram Stories section, and requested everyone to respect his privacy.
