During their New York City concert on Saturday, November 16, an audience member threw several dollar bills onto the stage in appreciation of their stellar performance. Ayushmann stopped his performance and took a moment to politely request the audience to use this money and donate it to a charity.

Ayushmann was taking a break from singing the popular song Paani Da Rang from his debut film Shoojit Sircar’s 2012 comedy Vicky Donor. A fan threw a lot of US dollars on the stage, which left Ayushmann shocked. Then he came on the mic and addressed the fan, “Paaji, don’t do this man. Please don’t do this. Don’t do it like this, you can donate it to charity, do something, please don’t do it. (Give it to a charity or somewhere else. Please don’t do this). I love you.
