Varun Dhawan’s film “Baby Jaan” has made its mark in Bollywood this year. Apart from being a perfect combination of emotions, action, music and spicy entertainment, the film also has a special message for the audience. “Baby John” is a perfect family entertainer that people of all ages can enjoy.
Produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee and Jyoti Deshpande and directed by Kalis, Atlee’s signature style is evident in this film. The film is made on a grand scale and at the same time has a deep understanding of emotions. The message of this film based on women’s safety is very powerful and could only be expected from the makers of Jawan, Kabir Singh and Bhul Bhulaya.
Undoubtedly this is Varun Dhawan’s best performance. In the role of police officer Satya, his portrayal of a loving father and a strong protector is outstanding. The on-screen chemistry between him and Zara (his daughter’s character in the film) won many hearts. Zara is indeed a big surprise—her innocence and charm translate so well on screen, and it’s the father-daughter relationship that becomes the heart of the film. Apart from this, the pairing of Varun Dhawan and Rajpal Yadav brings humor in the film.
Jackie Shroff has done an excellent job as the villain in the film. His acting has made the film more profound and impressive. Keerthy Suresh has also played his role well and has done full justice to it. Wamika Gabbi has also enthralled the audience with her acting and her action scenes were also very good. Salman Khan’s cameo at the end of the film was a nice addition, which made the film even more appealing.
Thaman’s background score makes every scene more special. Listening to the songs “Nain Matakka” and “Bandobast” makes the heart flutter and feels like dancing.
Director Kalis has shown the depth of emotions in the film very well. The film portrays the serious issue of child trafficking with great sensitivity and thoughtfulness, which is sure to be a talking point among the audience.
“Baby John” is a complete entertainer, full of emotion, action, music and laughter. The film is a huge success for Varun Dhawan and sets a new standard for Bollywood. Don’t miss this holiday! The film is presented by Cine1 Studios under the banner of Jio Studios and A for Apple, and has now released in theatres.
