It has exceeded a decade since the Inner Center was booked for an international show, but as the guitarist and primary lyricist Chint Chinnappa says, they prefer to do things in a organic way.

“I am confident that we are still the old school bands that want people to be influenced by our performance first, and then hope that fans are translated into making. I think it’s a bit more durable for us,” says contemplation.

After his 2013 tour of Europe and a set at the Infrano Metal Festival in Oslo in Norway in 2015, Inner Santam released his first album, Legendary awake (Also in 2015) and was known for its live performance all over India. After some lineup changes, but the Pulsising Act of Bangalore currently consists of guitar, singer Shashank Bhatnagar, Basist Narayan Shrauth, drummer Ujwal KS and guitarist Tajas Jayaraman.

With this, Inner Sarecm is going to Dubai to perform at the Gig Series Desert Inferno on 9 August at Oak Live Bar. Chintan says, “Dubai is a hotspot of people around the world, so I hope that people listen to the band, turn to the event and support us.”

Although it is not a multi-city tour, Chinton is happy that the Gig Promoter resurrected “actively trying to bring an Indian band” and promotes heavy music from the country.

This will be the band’s first international show with the current lineup, and Chinton is only half-joke when he says he is “sick of playing in India” because he has conquered all the big stages and clubs. “I think Dubai will be happy to see a band in India to bring a certain level of professionalism on the stage, which we are receiving, and I hope it will be the initial point for us to return there again.”

While he has previously gone to the city of Gulf in a personal capacity, it is quite likely that it will be the first time for some other band members. Chintan says, “I am quite sure that Narayan and Shashank have not visited Dubai, just because Narayan got his passport only a few months ago.”

The show also comes at a time when Inner SECTAM is changing his settist, but he also understands that some fans in Dubai may be watching him live for the first time. “We created a group of tracks, especially from older people Produce EP (2009). But a lot of people in Dubai want to listen to some of our old items, so we will mix in some of our new tracks, and see how it goes, ”says the guitarist.

The new content includes his 2023 single ‘The Face of Evil’, but also includes songs with Bhatnagar, which in 2023 joined the band in place of Gaurav Basu, who are being road-tested and are being prepared for release. Chinton feels that it is about time, as all previous records had a separate lineup.

“This was one of the reasons that we thought it is important for us to release a new – something that shows what the internal sanctuary is now, as we were in 2009.”

By that end, Chintan says, “The focus on writing and finalizing new songs is 100%.” He says, “Some gigs are in line. But we are making a point to not take it to big gigs, until we can completely change our settist.”
