After its theatrical release, audiences were waiting for the film to be released digitally. Today the makers surprised the audience by releasing a new promo and announced the release of Bastar: The Naxal Story on digital platform ZEE5. The film will be available to watch from May 17, 2024 and will be released simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu.
Starring Adah Sharma in the role of IPS officer Neerja Madhavan, the film tells the story of a momentous event in the country, a must watch for audiences of all generations. The film opens with a tough, bold and important topic that no one has ever dared to talk about before.
Stars like Vikrant Chaturvedi, Rahul Chaudhary, Purunendu Bhattacharya, Kishore Kadam and Naman were seen in important roles in this film based on Naxalites. This film was released in the month of March this year but could not do much at the box office in terms of earnings.
Director Sudeepto Sen said on the occasion that directing Bastar was a challenging but very rewarding experience. Our aim was to present the realistic side of Naxalite struggle by taking inspiration from real life events and characters. Adah Sharma has once again done an amazing job.
