Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are embarking on a new real estate adventure following split rumors.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, who were once inseparable, are exploring new avenues in real estate. While the actor has purchased a $20 million mansion in Los Angeles that’s being touted as a potential bachelor pad, the popstar has finally sold his New York City penthouse after being on the market for seven years. And now, shocking new details are emerging about Affleck’s living choices, which are quite different from his living choices with JLo.
Ben Affleck’s new home has a ‘feeling of privacy and seclusion’
Affleck, who was renting a house in Brentwood for about two months, reportedly bought a new home on Lopez’s birthday, fuelling speculation of a split. Now sources have revealed that his new home offers the peace and quiet he was looking for while living with Lopez, but he hasn’t been able to enjoy it fully due to his inevitable fame and constant attention from fans.

Describing Affleck’s new mansion, a source told People, “The vibe is family-friendly, but it could easily be turned into a bachelor pad.” They added that while it’s not trendy, it has “a sense of privacy and seclusion.” The new neighborhood, reportedly home to many of the entertainment industry’s top people, “boasts a sophisticated crowd — it’s not trendy.”
The Accountant 2 star has found a five-bedroom property, which an insider describes as his ‘real establishment’. Meanwhile, his shared Beverly Hills mansion with JLo is on the market for $68 million. The couple bought it for $60 million after their wedding in 2022.

Jennifer Lopez sells NYC condo
Affleck’s property purchase appears to coincide with the finalization of the sale of Lopez’s New York City condo. She sold her Madison Square Park penthouse that houses a four-bedroom, 7.5-bath duplex, which had been on and off the market for seven years, for $23 million. This comes after the couple spent their summer on separate coasts, including on Lopez’s birthday and their second wedding anniversary.
On August 2, the Daily Mail reported that the couple, who have not been photographed together in months, are moving toward settling a divorce. They have signed the paperwork but have yet to submit it. The insider also revealed that the Gigli co-stars are planning to release a joint statement confirming the separation.
