What did Beyoncé’s father say?

Beyoncé’s father said, “America has a majority of white people and unfortunately they don’t vote based on merit and achievements, it’s still sometimes between white and black people. In America, there is no accountability for people who don’t accept other cultures.”

He further added that Beyoncé’s snub “speaks for itself.”

More information

Beyoncé’s 2024 record made history this year, which she purposely branded as the ‘Beyoncé Album’ rather than the ‘Country Album’ ahead of its release on March 29. It managed to hold its top spot on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart for four weeks – making her the first Black woman to hit this untouched milestone.

Earlier in March, in a post on Instagram, Beyoncé said the album was ‘born out of an experience.’ “Because of that experience, I dived deep into the history of country music and studied our rich musical archive. It’s great to see how music can unite so many people around the world, while also amplifying the voices of those who have dedicated such a large part of their lives to educating us on our musical history,” she said.

Morgan Wallen became the leading nominee for the 2024 CMA Awards with seven nominations. Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton took second place with five nominations each. Post Malone and Lainey Wilson received four nominations each. Meanwhile, the nominees for New Artist of the Year are Moroni, Shaboozie, Nate Smith, Mitchell Tenpenny, Zac Top, and Bailey Zimmerman.
