Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, promised that her performance at the NFL halftime show, which is set to be streamed live on Netflix, will not be interrupted by any glitches. The news comes after the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight, which was also live-streamed on the platform, suffered various glitches. Knowles said God will make sure the singer’s livestream goes smoothly. Beyonce will perform at an NFL event on Christmas.

Beyoncé’s mom makes sure her performance goes smoothly

This week, Knowles told TMZ, “Everything is going to be good. God is going to be there.” As Page Six reports, the singer will perform her album Cowboy Carter for the first time during the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans game at NRG Stadium in her hometown of Houston, Texas.

The outlet contacted the famous mom after seeing massive glitches during the live stream on Netflix on Nov. 15 following the Tyson-Paul fight. During the match, the streaming giant received over 88,000 reports of streaming problems, and Barstool Sports head David Portnoy labeled it “invisible”.

Additionally, a Florida resident attacked the platform with a $50 million class action lawsuit.

The man reportedly said in his lawsuit, “Netflix customers faced massive streaming problems and they should have known better because it has happened before. They were woefully unprepared.” Last Saturday, the subscription-based streaming platform announced that the match had reached 65 million concurrent streams worldwide.

The lawsuit alleges that many viewers missed a large portion of the highly anticipated fight, while some fans had no access at all.

Netflix executives worried after Tyson-Paul debacle

Following the glitch during the Tyson-Paul fight, Netflix executives are concerned as the streaming platform will stream both the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers and Ravens vs. Texans games on Christmas Day.

Jeremy Fowler and Dan Grazian, league insiders, reported that the NFL contacted the platform “to assess the possibility that they could repeat themselves at Christmas” and were “assured that Netflix has figured out What went wrong” and that history will not repeat itself.
