Hollywood studio Sony Pictures has attached Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson to direct the third installment. spider verse Animated franchise.

according to DiversityPersichetti and Justin K. Thompson have been integral parts of the franchise’s creative team since the first film.
Persichetti was part of the film’s directorial trio and served as executive producer for the second part. Meanwhile, Thompson worked as a production designer on the first film before joining the director trio for the sequel with Joaquim dos Santos and Kemp Powers.
“We have been privileged to be a part of Miles’ journey from the beginning and it is so exciting to see his story come to a conclusion,” the duo said in a statement.
“The creativity and care put into every minute of this project has been truly inspiring. We’ve crafted what we think is a very satisfying ending, and we can’t wait for fans to experience it. We’re bringing everything we’ve got,” he said.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Audiences were introduced to Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), a teenager who becomes Spider-Man and discovers the multiverse. It proved to be a groundbreaking film and was praised for its unique animation style, storytelling, and emotional depth.
The film featured an ensemble voice cast including Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree Henry, John Mulaney, Nicolas Cage, and Liev Schreiber.
sequel, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verseexpanded the story as Miles teams up with Gwen Stacy and other Spider-People from all dimensions to confront a new threat.
Filmmaking duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who led the critically and commercially successful trilogy, are returning to co-write the screenplay. They will also produce alongside Amy Pascal, Avi Arad and Jinko Gotoh.
Aditya Sood and Christina Steinberg are executive producers, while Jessica Berry will serve as co-producer.
