BTS’ Jin is gearing up for his post-military service comeback to the entertainment world with a guest role in Netflix’s upcoming variety show, Dae Hwan Jung Kian Jang (working title). The K-pop group’s oldest member will join entertainer Kian84 in running a guest house on the beautiful island of Ulleungdo. The OTT giant has unveiled the release window for it while confirming another title role.
BTS Jin will star in new Netflix show
According to XSport News, BTS’ Jin will be making a guest appearance on the upcoming variety show, Kian’s Bizarre B&B. Helmed by webtoon writer and broadcaster Kian84 and producer Jeong Hyo Min, the show is set to premiere in 2025.
Kian84, whose real name is Kim Hee Min, is known for creating the popular webtoon Fashion King and for his fun performances in the hit variety shows I Live Alone and Around the World Since I Was Born. With Jin joining the lineup, anticipation for the show is growing. Since his military discharge in June, Jin has been busy with a variety of activities.

Actress Ji Ye Eun will join Jin in the new Netflix series
Actress Ji Ye Eun, best known for her stellar role in Coupang Play’s SNL Korea, is also set to join the cast. She’s no stranger to the spotlight, having made notable appearances in popular shows like Running Man, Knowing Bros, and King of Masked Singer. The streaming company has just said that she’s coming on board for the project.
“It is true that BTS’s Jin and actress Ji Ye Eun will be appearing on Netflix’s variety show. We cannot confirm filming dates for safety measures. We hope you will understand,” Netflix said in a statement, according to Koreaboo.

BTS Jin’s other projects
By the way, this show on Netflix is ​​not Jin’s first foray into TV. Recently, MBC released the teaser of Jin’s new show, “If You Rest, It’s a Relief” (Fukda Haeng), which promises a thrilling island adventure. The teaser shows Jin and his close friend Sandeol from B1A4 exploring challenging survival on an island. The show is set to premiere globally on August 19. Apart from this, he also has a BTS Run spin-off, Run gin, Which is his solo entertainment show.
