Senorita singer Camila Cabello released her new single “He Knows” in collaboration with Lil Nas The song comes just after the pop sensation took to social media to announce the release of her fourth solo album, See, XOXO. , with the cover image showing the singer with recently dyed blonde hair licking a blue lollipop and smiling at the camera.
Earlier this year, Cabello launched her new album era with the Playboi Carti-assisted “I Love It.”
On May 6, Cabello and Lil Nas X appeared on the green carpet of the Met Gala, debuting their new song. The song follows their last hit, I Love It, and is the first single from their highly anticipated new album.
The song’s music video features the collaborators in their stunning Met Gala outfits. The song is a light-hearted but sensual single, where 27-year-old Cabello plays a game of cat-and-mouse with an infatuated lover, singing over catchy handclaps, “I think he knows / When I’m with him like this Play / When I say it’s like this to him / I treat him like this / I think he knows (he knows).”
So far, the My Oh My singer has released a self-directed teaser as well as a new single from her summer album.
How did the singer write the song?
According to her recent interview with People Magazine, she liked the process of making the album and was pleased with the outcome. Before making this album, he had remixed the Strome song “Mon Amour”. “I walked over to the booth and wrote something myself,” she told the publication.
