Cardi B has been watching all the US election trends and isn’t feeling very optimistic about the results. After endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for the top spot, Cardi is nervous about former President Donald Trump being the frontrunner to replace her.
On results night, Cardi tweeted, “We need a Hail Mary.”
election trends
Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris scored early victories in Republican and Democratic states, respectively, as a divided America made its own decision on Tuesday over a strong choice for the country’s future.
According to the race called by Associated Press at 9.34am (IST), 230 electoral votes had gone to Republican candidate Trump and 179 to Democratic Party’s Harris.
Polls closed in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Arizona, Wisconsin, North Carolina and Nevada, seven closely contested battleground states that were expected to decide the election, but it was too early to say anything about the outcome there.

Cardi B also recently responded to Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s comments about her. He called Kamala Harris a “puppet” for supporting her campaign.
Musk wrote, “Another puppet that can’t even talk without learning words. There is no authenticity or true empathy in the Kamala campaign.
To this, Cardi B responded, “I’m not a puppet Elon… I’m the daughter of two immigrant parents who had to work hard to support me! I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of Section 8 I’m a product of poverty and I’m a product of what happens when the system is stacked against you…but you don’t know a thing about the American struggle. Don’t know….PS fix my algorithm”
During her rally appearance, Cardi B gave a speech about women’s rights, saying, “Like Kamala Harris, I have been the underdog, I have been underestimated, my success has been downplayed and denigrated. Let me tell you something. : Women have to work ten times harder, perform ten times better, and yet people question us, how did we get to the top, I can’t tolerate any bullying, but like Kamala, I always stand up to one Remains standing,” reports Deadline.
