A former makeup artist for Cassie Ventura said she saw the singer “badly scarred” while working with her and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. “We were always afraid of Puff,” Myla Morales told Extra, referring to Diddy.
“He is a powerful man and we don’t know what will happen to us if we speak out,” Morales said. “I’m scared to even talk about it, but I guess someone’s got to do it.”
Morales further said that he saw Ventura with a black eye and bruises in 2016 after he had an alleged altercation with Diddy. That same year, Diddy attacked Ventura in a hotel hallway, which was caught on camera and recently revealed.
“I mean, hurt pretty bad, like he had lumps on his head, a black eye … and I was just concerned for his safety, and I took him home and kept him there for a couple of days,” Morales said.
“I literally called my friend, who was a doctor at that time, to treat him because we couldn’t bring him to the hospital. We didn’t know what to do at that time. Who are we going to call?” He added.
‘If he was sorry about this, he would tell her name’
When asked about Ventura’s abuse, Morales said, “I don’t know … but I saw it. I don’t even want to go back to it because it’s triggering.”
“I saw him walking into the room and saying, ‘Where is he?’ And I didn’t know what was going on… all I could think about was getting him out of there,” she continued. “I was like, ‘I just woke up,’ And the next thing you know, all I heard from the bedroom was just s–t. “I don’t want to go back and think about it.”
Morales said she was cooperating with law enforcement authorities. Talking about the video of Diddy beating Ventura, he said he knew “this day was coming.” Morales also dismissed Diddy’s apology video as “a PR stunt.”
“It’s ridiculous, they didn’t even say his name,” Morales said. “And if he was sorry about it, he would have mentioned her name, but he didn’t. And this is what I don’t understand. And I feel like he’s a great, ‘Genius Mr. Ripley.'”
