Today, Fine Kala Academy Gallery is red. Many shield shades of color hang heavy on 90-odd canvas that fill the space: Crimson and Reds that sometimes break up rapidly by a frightening, evil black or gray. But they essentially find their way for Reds again, a lot of artist Geeta Hudson is like herself, for whose color penchant is not new.

Title transit … from studio, the show is a mixture of their work body in mediums in the last two years. Not only canvas, but moving images, movies and installations are also part of this display. The experimental function of the Gita (read: a butterfly makes a butterfly made of old DVDs) is part of all collections, which threw light on her journey with abstraction.

The artist is Frank. “I just wanted to see two of my work in a gallery together,” she says.

The year 1999 was. The Gita remembers the moment that she turned into a world of abstraction. “When I first saw the works of Raza, Gateonde, or Achuthan Kudluor, I felt that they were great things! I found him very spiritual. “Subconscious, he was obsessed. She began at a time when the overload of imagination and continuous risk to the same, was not yet part of daily life. “There was no pre-existing picture in my head. I see music in these textures. This way colors flow, ”says Geeta. In 2005, with a show held at Lalit Kala Academy, she realized how abstract catch her.

“This time, I wanted to show my abstract and semi-practitions. And I also do a lot of films on the artists, so I have edited them again and run them in the loop, especially for the benefit of young students, ”she says. Her late husband was the collector of world films and world music. “They put all the DVDs in giant folders in a particular order. DVDs have now become meaningless and I did not feel like giving them away. So I made art among them. It is somehow preserving its collection, ”says Geeta. His folk gods and some work of the temple chain are also part of the performance.

“As I work, new colors emerge. But I have a certain palette, and I search within that palette. “Is it ever tired with Reds? The Gita is honest. “Yes, sometimes it does. But if you look closely, you see white and pink, and only as a whole, what they look red. ,
