Fans fall prey to fake tickets
Many fans detailed about their struggle to book tickets for their favorite singer’s concert, PTI reported. A concert goer said, “I struggled for nine hours on Zomato Live to get some tickets and finally I got one ticket. My girlfriend has another ticket, but she is sitting on the other side. We are two different -Are in different lines.”
While many were lucky enough to be a part of one of the biggest shows in recent memory, others found themselves stranded outside, unable to enter after they discovered their tickets were invalid. Despite pleading with the organisers, they were denied entry, leaving some people angry and others heartbroken.
“It was a complete waste of time to come here and was turned away by security,” said one disappointed fan. Another said, “I came here without a ticket and met someone who sold me a fake ticket. They charged me a lot of money for this.”
Tour organizers had warned fans not to purchase tickets from anywhere other than the authorized seller – ZomatoLive. However, many incidents of re-selling or hoarding of tickets are still being reported.
there is a lot of traffic jam
Around 30,000-35,000 fans attended the concert held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Saturday evening. As a result, the roads leading to JLN Stadium in Delhi were choked with traffic. Many people took to social media to complain about being stuck in long traffic jams while trying to reach the venue. Several videos showed long queues at the Barapula Bridge.
Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal was among those stuck in the jam and he had to leave his car and walk to the venue. Sharing a video showing bumper-to-bumper traffic on his Instagram Stories, Goyal wrote, “Walking the last mile to JLN Stadium for Diljit.” So much traffic!” Large crowds waited for hours to enter the venue, but the excitement was palpable.
