Cool the Film, Cast & Plot
Coolie stars Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Saubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Satyaraj and Aamir Khan. Rachita Ram, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, Kanna Ravi, Monisha Blass and Kali Venkat appear in supporting roles. In the film, a mysterious person stands up to a corrupt syndicate that exploits and abuses workers in a port city.
This will be the first for Nagarjuna, as he will donate the role of a villain – playing the role of the opponent. He has so far appeared in over 90 films and has been awarded many appreciation and awards – played the lead hero in most of his outings. In the coolie, his counterpart avatar will definitely make fans to see them in a different light.
With ‘Coolie’, Aamir Khan is entering Tamil cinema in the entire throat. Aamir was never seen before ‘the brunt’, sporting a razor-sharp, high-octane, stylish look. It symbolizes a renovation with Rajinikanth after 30 years, as the pair previously worked in ‘Aatank Hi Aatank’ (1995), which included Juhi Chawla and Om Puri in Pivatal Parts.
