When a franchise returns to its fourth season, the pressure to give something new is still familiar. Criminal justice of Disney+ Hotstar: A family case does not just stand as a rare series that confirms its cultural relevance with every new season, but takes a slow-burn, character-first approach that pays emotionally.

The fourth season re -presents us to Madhav Mishra’s main team, which is played by Pankaj Tripathi, his wife Ratna (Khushboo Atre), his brother Deep (Atam Prakash Mishra), and Shivani Mathur (Barkha Singh), which always provides a comedy twinkle to this thriller.

Apart from these characters, we are introduced to Roshani (Asha Negi), her lover, Surgeon Raj (Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub) and Raj’s wife Anju (Sarvar Chawla) and his Espargar’s syndrome affected daughter Ira (Khushi Bharadwa.

Only the first three episodes of the eight-part series are currently streaming, but they pack enough intrigue to hook the audience, while they want more.

At the center of criminal justice: A family case is Pankaj Tripathi-Stayi, System, and completely irreparable, Tripathi brings a spontaneous attraction in the form of Madhav Mishra, transporting every line with a living honesty that makes Madhav feel like a familiar person.

His on-screen wife Ratna (Khashbo Atre) and his brother Deep (Atam Prakash Mishra), otherwise welcomes humor to stressful fiction.

Director Rohan Sippy uses the first three episodes to lay the emotional groundwork, which introduces us to new characters, which chooses attractive court room speeches and the speed of a meditation rather than the complex perception of justice inside the house.

Currently there are only three of the eight episodes, which is disappointing, but the slow revelation of suspects and mysteries makes for a compelling build-up.

Criminal Justice: A family case may lack high-dot adventures, however, it constantly holds its place as one of the attractive legal plays, but it makes it for the mature story, grounded performance and its subtle best with Pankaj Tripathi.
