“Let’s do something different,” Craig said, introducing Bond creators Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, who were honored with the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award.

“If you’ve come here this evening to find out who is the next James Bond, don’t look at me, but he may be in the room. I’m just kidding. Maybe I’m not,” he added.

Craig, who played Bond in Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012), Specter (2015), and No Time to Die (2021), previously shared that he doesn’t care Who will play the next role? deeply concerned.

Before the awards, Wilson and Broccoli said that choosing a new Bond was “a big decision”.

Other celebrities honored at the 2024 Governors Awards include the late Quincy Jones, who died on Nov. 3 at the age of 91, casting director Juliet Taylor and filmmaker Richard Curtis, People reports.
