Denzel Washington recently said that he is a part of Black Panther 3. The actor confirmed that this would be one of his last few films before retirement.
Denzel Washington talks about starring in the third installment of Marvel’s Black Panther. The veteran actor, who is playing a pivotal role in Ridley Scott’s Gladiator 2, recently revealed about his future plans. Denzel, in one Interview While speaking with the Today Show, Australia said that he will play a key role in Black Panther 3. When asked if the actor had any jitters about working in the Gladiator sequel, he said, “No. For me it’s all about the filmmaker, especially at this point in my career. I’m only interested in working with the best. I don’t know how many more films I will make. Maybe not that many. I’ve been playing Othello at 22, now I’m playing Othello at 70. After that I’m playing Hannibal. Since then I’ve been talking about a movie with Steve McQueen. Ryan Coogle is writing a part for me in the next Black Panther. Then I’m going to do Othello and then King Lear. After that I am going to retire.”

Black Panther is a 2018 American superhero film based on Marvel Comics, starring late actor Chadwick Boseman in the lead role. It also stars Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, and others. Following Chadwick’s passing, producers moved forward with a sequel titled Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022). The rest of the cast reprized their roles in the film.
