India’s spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and actor-choreographer Dhanashree Verma have given their divorce. According to a statement by the cricketer’s lawyer, Nitin K Gupta, the divorce petition was filed by mutual consent and was submitted to the court in Bandra, Mumbai.

The case is currently subject to judicial review, and it would be illegal to publicly discuss the matter. Chahal and his family have decided not to comment on media reports and urged the public to avoid speculation.

Chahal’s lawyer, Nitin said, “An agreement has been reached for divorce with Mrs. Verma with mutual consent. A petition has been filed before the Honorable Family Court, Bandra with mutual consent. This case is now sub-judicious Is.” K Gupta, in an official statement to Hindustan Times.
