Chennai: Director Sekhar Kamula’s eager film, ‘Kubera’, which was the head of Tamil star Dhanush and Telugu star Nagarjuna, will be a hit on screen worldwide on June 20 this year, its manufacturers announced on Thursday.

For his social media timeline, Mr. Venkateswara Cinema, which was written by the production house produced by the film, wrote, “A story of power. A fight for money. A game of luck .. #sekharkammulaskuberaa is ready to give a mesmerized dramatic experience from 20 June 2025. ,

The release date was announced on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. The interesting thing is that Dhanush is considered a devotee of Lord Shiva.

Apart from Nagarjuna and Dhanush, the film also includes Jim Sarbh and Rashmika Mandanna. The film is eagerly awaited as this is the first time national-winning winning actor Dhanush is joining hands with a filmmaker Sekhar Kamula.

Rumors round in the industry suggests that Dhanush plays the role of a beggar who later rises to become a mafia king in the film. There is also speculation that Nagarjuna will portray the role of an investigating officer. However, there is no official confirmation regarding any of these speculations.

On the technical front, the film stars Devi Sri Prasad, who is riding high on the success of her most recent release, Thandel.

‘Kubera’ has Nicheth Bomi’s cinematography. Ramakrishna Sabbani and Monica Nigotre are the production designers of the film. The film is co-shared by Chaithanya Pingali. The costumes for the film are designed by Kavya Shriram and Garibana Jain. Kubera is being banned under the banner of Sri Venkateswara cinema by Sunil Narn and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao.
