Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ stirs controversy as he influences 2024 Halloween costume trends. A “shameful” trend was inspired by the disgraced mogul’s recent controversy and people are jumping on it. There has been major outrage after a couple dressed as Diddy and freak Baby Oil battled it out for the horror season. In addition to more than 120 previous cases, he recently faced another blow of pedophile allegations. He is currently lodged in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

The ’embarrassing’ Diddy and Baby Oil bottle costume trend
Recently, a young couple impersonated the infamous mogul and a bottle of baby oil and revealed the 1,000 bottles that were found at his home. The girl was dressed as a pink Johnson’s Baby Oil bottle, while the apparently white boy wore a black suit to impersonate Diddy and finished the job by painting his face black.
The girl was also holding a bottle of baby oil in one hand and had joined the elbows of the other hand with her partner. The controversial photo was part of a swipe-through video shared by a friend, who posted various Halloween costumes from their “group chat” and wrote “PDD and baby oil” in the caption.
Other Halloween costumes with similar black face paint have surfaced, including another white male who dressed up as Diddy in an orange jumpsuit. The man, who someone identified as being from Scottsdale, Arizona, had ‘Didi’ written in bold letters on his dress.
A lawsuit accused the mogul of child sexual abuse after he mixed “lotions or similar body oils” with what is commonly known as the “date rape drug” or GHB. As reported by RadarOnline, the suit revealed, “Combs alleges that Combs put victims in lotion or similar body oil… GHB was added so that the drug would be absorbed through the victim’s skin and “It should become easier to attack him.”

Netizens criticized the young couple
The Diddy outfit trend left netizens angry as one user wrote on X, “Dog…don’t know what’s worse. The fact that she did blackface in 2024 or the fact that her costume doesn’t even scream diddy and it was just an excuse to paint her face. Another user wrote, “Fed up with white people, you did blackface to make a couple costume like Didi and Baby Oil????” A third user wrote, “Yi: P. Diddy is not a Halloween costume. This is not a joke. This isn’t cute. This is not good. Don’t do that.”
Another user wrote, “This is racism,” while one wrote, “I mean it’s a weird outfit. But I don’t understand how they thought it would end well.”
