A man proposed to his girlfriend at Diljit’s Pune show

In a clip posted on Instagram, a man gets down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend on stage as the audience cheers. After this he kissed her hand and also hugged her. Diljeet was heard singing near them. After this, Diljeet was seen clapping and asked the audience to also clap for him.

Diljeet shook hands with that person and hugged his girlfriend. After this the man said that he proposed to his girlfriend after living together for 13 years. The clip ends with Diljit reiterating his point.

In a last-minute move, the state excise department on Sunday canceled the permit to serve liquor at Diljit’s concert. The decision was taken after strong protests by the NCP party’s youth wing and senior BJP leader Chandrakant Patil as well as some local residents and organizations against serving liquor at the event.

Earlier this month, during his Ahmedabad concert, Diljit had said that if the government announced a nationwide ban on “liquor” then he would stop making songs on it. Diljit’s Dil-Luminati Tour will continue with performances in Kolkata (30 November), Bengaluru (6 December), Indore (8 December) and Chandigarh (14 December). He will conclude the India leg of his show in Guwahati (December 29).
