Diljit Dosanjh spoke to fans during his Ahmedabad concert.

Diljit was surprised by people watching his show for free

Diljit performed on stage in the video. Halfway through, he looked ahead, standing still, looking ahead with his mouth open. After this he signaled his team to stop playing music.

Pointing in front of him, “Those who are sitting in the balcony of the hotel, it is good for you.” Ye hotel wale game kar gaye (Those who are sitting in the hotel balcony, this is good for you. The hotel has defeated us). Without a ticket, huh?”

After this the camera turned towards a nearby hotel and many people were watching and listening to Diljit sitting in the balcony. After this he continued singing but pointed towards the people watching from the balcony that they were having fun without tickets.

Fans are reacting to Diljit’s video

The video was shared with the caption, “Gift city club wale game khel gaye.” Responding to the post, a fan said, “Diljit Dosanjh, will book a hotel next time.” “They paid more than the ticket price,” one person wrote. “@dilgitdosanjh huge loss,” one comment read.

What did Diljit say on the movement against alcohol?

At Diljit’s Ahmedabad show, the singer was also seen making a promise and wanted to start a movement against alcohol. Diljit had said that if all the ‘thekas’ (liquor shops) are closed in the country, he will stop singing songs based on alcohol. At his show in Ahmedabad, the singer-actor responded to the notice sent to him before the Hyderabad concert, instructing him to avoid songs related to alcohol, drugs and violence.

Diljit changed the wording in his chartbusters Lemonade and 5 Tara – which originally mentioned ‘daru’ (liquor) and ‘theka’ (liquor shop) – after receiving a notice from the Telangana government before the Hyderabad concert.

Diljit’s upcoming shows

After Ahmedabad, Diljit will perform in Lucknow on November 22 as part of his Dil-Luminati Tour.
