Singer Diljit Dosanjh has once again won the hearts of his fans with his sweet gesture. The singer is currently conducting his Dil-Luminati Tour in India, with Kolkata being the next stop. Diljit responds to fan’s request for free tickets
The fan, named Maninder Singh Sokhi, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday. He wrote, “@DiljitDosanjh Bhaji (folded hands emoji) I wanted your show to happen in Kolkata for many years, but now that it’s happening I couldn’t get tickets because they were sold out within a minute (crying) face emoji) Please can I have 2 tickets (for me and my sister) for your Kolkata concert on 30th November…”
Internet praised Diljit
Responding to the tweet, Diljit simply wrote, “Ho gaya Maninder (check mark emoji).” Responding to the post, a fan said: “You have a big heart.” One person wrote, “Congratulations Maninder, lucky fan.” One ex user joked, “You don’t even know what you’ve started.” One tweet read, “You’re so good at doing this.”
This is not the first time that Diljit has done this for a fan. Last month, Diljit had organized his show at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. In a video posted on Instagram, a young fan asked Diljit to sing loudly so that he could hear him from his house, which was some distance from the stadium. The singer then asked her to come to the venue, and then he gave her family tickets to his show.
About Diljit’s India tour
After months of entertaining fans around the world in countries like the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands, Diljit kicked off the India leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour 2024 in New Delhi. He also performed in Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Pune. The singer will be seen in his next Kolkata show. The grand finale of his India tour will be held in Guwahati on 29 December.
