Uppu Puli KaramAn upcoming Tamil family entertainment series, which will premiere on May 30 on Disney+ Hotstar. The streamer announced the news on Sunday with a promo of the theme song ‘Kudumba Paatu’, which celebrates family happiness and togetherness.

According to a press release from the streamer, the series is in that order Kana Kanum Kalangal And Heartbeatand will be “full of fun, romance and family spirit”.

“Subramani and Subbalakshmi are a happy family with 4 children. They run a small hotel – “Annam Mess” – on the ground floor of the building where they live. They live on the first floor of the same building, while Subbulakshmi’s brother’s family lives on the second floor. Thippu auditioned for a web series focusing on a father-son relationship, but could not land it. He feels that he is not able to express emotions because he never got fatherly affection as his father abandoned him in his childhood. He decides to locate his father and spend some time with him as he feels it will help him think better.

“He learns that his father’s name is Subramani, and he locates him. He reaches UPK mess and confronts his father. Subramani is shocked and feels guilty and responsible for Thippu’s plight. He decides to become a father figure to Thippu. However, the 4 siblings are confused by the arrival of the new boy and drama unfolds while they all continue to handle issues in their respective love lives,” reads the plot description from the streamer.

The series features a star cast including actors Ponvannan, Vanitha, Ayesha, Naveen, Ashwini, Deepika, Krishna, Farina, Deepak Paramesh and Raj Ayyappa.
