‘External Affairs’ investigated Jean Z relations with humor

Viewers see how external factors, access, friends, even how parents affect how people respond to love and conflict.” The play also touches mental health, inclusion and modern concerns, with all humor.

Since its premiere in August 2024, Foreign work Traveling to Delhi, Nagpur and Bhopal. “It’s quite crazy,” says Adhar. “We have managed 42 shows in seven months, and it’s amazing.”

Different viewing experience

The play offers a 360-degree viewing experience, with the audience seated around the performance place. The team also tailor production at each location, causing subtle adjustment on the way. “We also change some jokes and references based on the city, promising some surprise to the audience of Hyderabad.”

External affairs are being staged on 5 April at serlingmali, Rangbhoomi spaces.
