Govinda paid his final honor to his former secretary Shashi Prabhu on Wednesday (5 March). Shashi Prabhu was allegedly suffering from heart issues and recently of bypass surgery.

In a video shared on X (East Twitter), Govinda was seen visually emotional in the funeral of his former secretary. The actor wiped tears and stood in support of Shashi Prabhu’s family.

Soon after Shashi Prabhu’s death, Govinda’s current secretary Shashi Sinha started receiving the condolence message. The fake news of his death spread quickly as he shared his first name with Shashi Prabhu.

Speaking to news agency IANS, Shashi Sinha confirmed, “I have been receiving many condolence messages and calls on my phone since the false news of my death. Since I share the same name as Govinda’s old friend and former secretary Shashi Prabhu, confusion gave birth to this false news. Shashi Prabhu was his secretary at the time of Prabhu accusation, after that, I am taking care of this work. ,
