Gurmeet Choudhary’s protein-rich boiled food diet revealed! This is how he stays fit

Mumbai: Actor Gurmeet Choudhary takes fitness very seriously. The actor boasts of a well-sculpted physique and the secret behind getting this great body is his abstinence from delicious food and focusing only on healthy food.

The actor spoke to IANS about his eating habits, how he controls his cravings for food and his advice for fitness enthusiasts.

Gurmeet believes that having a proper diet and consuming the right combination of calories throughout the day is important to get the right shape and tone of muscles.

The actor said that he eats a protein-rich diet which includes meat and boiled foods.

“I eat all my food boiled – boiled chicken, boiled fish, boiled eggs, boiled vegetables, maybe broccoli and mushrooms – and green juice, which I drink at least once a day. The juice contains juice extracted from celery, mint, amla and cucumber, which contains collagen. All my meals include chicken, fish and vegetables, which are all boiled,” he told IANS.

The actor recently revealed on social media that he has not eaten samosa for 14 years.

When asked how he controls his craving for food, he said that he has controlled his taste buds.

“If you want to have a good body or do something good in life, you have to stop caring about your taste buds. I don’t have taste buds; in a sportsperson’s life we shouldn’t care about taste buds, so this is how I am living,” he told IANS.

Talking about healthy alternatives to delicious food, he said: “Nothing fried, nothing refined. Cutting down on sugar etc. If I feel like eating something sweet, as my body needs sugar, I eat blueberries, coffee, dark chocolate or yogurt.”

Giving his advice to all fitness aspirants, he said, “If you want to achieve anything in your life and excel in any field, you have to be disciplined about your diet. You must control your sugar and carbohydrate intake to stay fit and healthy.”
