Mumbai: As per the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) directives, the makers of the film ‘Hum Do Hamare Barah’ on Monday announced to change its name to ‘Hamara Barah’. The film starring Annu Kapoor and Parth Santhan will be released in theaters on June 7. Hamare Barah, directed by Kamal Chandra, is produced under the banner of Radhika Ji Films and NewTech Media Entertainment. The film is produced by Ravi S Gupta, Birendra Bhagat, Sanjay Nagpal and Sheo Balak Singh, while Triloki Prasad is the co-producer.

Anu Kapoor says that working in the film Hamare Barah was a unique experience. He said that the film explores some complex and sensitive topics, and I believe the new title will sync better with our story. I am excited to introduce the film to the audience on June 7. Producers Ravi Gupta and Birendra Bhagat said that the new title reflects the essence of the film, and they are confident that it will appeal to the audience.

According to the makers, our twelve year old television star Parth Santhan is entering the film industry. Samthan is known for his work in the serials ‘Kaisi Ye Yaariyan’ and ‘Kasautti Zindagi Ki’. Apart from them, Ashwini Kalsekar, Rahul Bagga, Paritosh Tiwari, Manoj Joshi and Aditi Bhattapahari will also be seen in the film. The producers said that Viacom18 Studios will release the film ‘Hamaara Barah’ in theaters across the country. (agency)
