Recently, in her interview with Hauterfly, Sanjeeda spoke about an incident where a woman touched her inappropriately at a nightclub.

Sanjeeda Sheikh opens up about being molested by a woman

The actress revealed how she was once molested by a woman, which shocked her. “I remember one incident very vaguely, but it was done by a woman. I was at a nightclub. A woman was passing by me and she touched my breasts and walked away. I was shocked, like what just happened. We hear that men slap your back and they misbehave, girls are no less.”

“If you are going down the wrong path, you just keep going on it regardless. It has nothing to do with men or women, whatever is wrong is wrong. If a woman has done wrong to you, tell her. Because I think it is very unattractive to pretend to be a victim.”

Sanjeeda Sheikh on her divorce

In the same interview, Sanjeeda also spoke about her divorce from actor Aamir Ali. “There are some men and some partners who try to discourage you, who tell you that you can’t do something. Or they will say that you won’t be able to do it. It’s better to stay away from such people. In every relationship, there are phases when you are happy, and then there are some when you are not happy, and then you make a decision for your life and that’s what I did for myself, because I started loving myself and I started prioritising myself and that is very, very important.”

She said, “I think I am very lucky for whatever happened to me. I might have felt then that I am the most depressed person, or I am very sad, or ‘What is happening to me, what is happening to my life?’ But to overcome all this and be happy with this version of me, I consider myself blessed.”

Sanjeeda and Aamir got married in 2012 and got divorced in 2021. They also have a daughter through surrogacy named Ayra Ali.
