Actress Huma Qureshi made her debut as a writer by launching her novel ‘Zeba: Acidant Superhero’ at the ongoing Jaipur Sahitya Festival on Sunday.

During a conversation with the media, Huma opened up his journey to write a book, sharing that the initial plan was to convert the story into a film, before the Kovid -19 epidemic interrupted those plans. .

“I started the book in 2019. After writing some 10-20 pages, I showed it to some people and everyone said that it was a good idea. Honestly, when I started writing this, this idea was a film or a film or It was to make any television shows, so I did that work in that sense.

Huma continued, “Then I started thinking if I would write a script on it or convert it into a graphic novel. I delayed enough to write it myself. I asked many people to write but they All came back and said that you should write it only.

The actress, known for her work at Gangs of Waspur, described the writing process as a “Catartic” experience and recommended writing as a tool to manage anxiety.

Huma said, “It was a Catharic process that I think. So I recommend whoever is dealing with any kind of anxiety, has to write, it is a great way to vomit anything on the page. , “Huma said.

Huma also reflected her career in Bollywood, given how her experiences in the film industry helped shape the book.

“I think two things are very important in the life of any artist: success and failure. A person learns very little from success and learns a lot from failure. I think the last ten years of the film industry for me a lot for me I have grown up in front of all of you (media).

Huma also revealed her plan to make a book based on a book. The actress is known for her work in ‘Gangs of Waspur’, ‘Race 3’, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ and others.
