HYBE plans to quietly leave NewJeans
In brief lil plans about HYBE’s girl groups, NewJeans is planned to be put out. When ILLIT made their mark and joined NewJeans and LE SSERAFIM on the music label’s girl group ranking, the trio became known as NEW-IL-LE.
This acronym was used on multimedia platforms to praise the new generation of girl group idols. New documents revealed plans to remove NEW from this abbreviation. Instead, the report included creating a new category for LE SSERAFIM and including them in the promotion.
HYBE noticed that ILLIT got more attention when he got into a trio. Similarly, the music label wanted to place LE SSERAFIM in a girl group category, becoming one million sellers and show them as the pinnacle of the music label. And in the process, they secretly wanted to take out Nugenes.
“As various communities began using ‘HYBE’s New-ILL-LE’ to refer to Nugenes, ILLIT and LE SSERAFIM, people began to refer to ILLIT more frequently,” the report said. It added, “Right now, LE SSERAFIM may need to add BLACKPINK, Aespa and IVE to the category of girl groups as million sellers in the first week of sales and distinguish them from the fourth generation. We were bothered by the word NEW-IL-LE for a few days, but we can throw away the “NEW” and start a whole new thing, as reported by Koreaboo.
