Mumbai: The Muslim community has started mobilizing against Hamare Barah saying that the film hurts the sentiments of Muslims. After the legal notice of Raza Academy, now the All India Ulema Board has also come into the fray. They have demanded an immediate ban on the film. If this is not the case, a sharp struggle has been warned.
Board Chairman Arif Memon Bapu has written a letter to the Film Censor Board demanding a ban on the release of the film. He says that the film uses derogatory words about the Holy Quran of Muslims.
Abusive words have been used about the personal life of Muslims and their family life. National General Secretary of All India Ulema Board, Anjar Anwar Khan, has written in a statement that the board will take to the streets to protest, film posters will be burnt and Rasta Roko movement will be held.
