After the backlash, a formal complaint was filed against Ranveer Allahbadia, social media affected Apoorva Makhija, Comedian Adh Raina and India’s organizers.

Earlier on Wednesday, Samay said in his Instagram stories to share a statement, stating that he had removed all the videos of the show from his channel and “fully cooperated” with the authorities. He also said that his only intention was to entertain people.

Meanwhile, Allahbadia also released a public apology, admitting that his comments were “unfair” and “there was a lapse in the decision.”
