Mumbai: Actor Jitendra Kumar, who is known for his work in the hit streaming show ‘Panchayat’, has talked about the fourth season, and the ongoing version of IIFA is being held on his home turf in Rajasthan.

The actor, who was dressed in a black tuxido suit, spoke with the media on the Green carpet of IIFA 2025.

He told the media, “I am very excited. I would like to congratulate the IIFA team for completing 25 years. It is very good to see Iifa, recognizing digital materials and artists on digital medium with IIFA Digital Awards.

He further mentioned, “It also feels great to see the IIFA held in Rajasthan, a state which is related to me. All stars and film actors will get a lot of love from the audience, I can fast, the people of Jaipur are gems ”.

Sharing an update on season four of the ‘Panchayat’, the actor said, “Work is going on on season four of ‘Panchayat’, and the show will soon be released with hope”.

The cameras started rolling in the fourth season of the Fan-Fawarite streaming series in ‘October’ last year. The producers of the show took to Instagram, and shared photos from the series shoot.

In the series, Jeetendra Kumar led the pioneering truth as a contingent of exceptional artists, including Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Sanvik, Chandan Roy, Faisal Malik, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar and Pankaj Jha, as a contingent of extraordinary artists.

‘Panchayat’ is a heart heating comedy drama against the background of rural India. It is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra along with the script written by Chandan Kumar. The show follows Abhishek’s life (starred by Jeetendra Kumar) which has been appointed as Secretary of Gram Panchayat in Phulera village.

Dissatisfied with the life of the village, Abhishek starts preparing for competitive examinations while living inside the panchayat office. During his visit, Abhishek becomes a close friend with the head-husband (essayed by Raghubir Yadav), Village Pradhan (Essay by Nina Gupta), Prahlad Cha (Faisal Malik) and Vikas, Office of Gram Panchayat (played by Chandan Roy).

The new season will fall on prime video.
