Mumbai:
Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder in a house on the morning of Thursday, January 16. Police officials told the media that the attack was allegedly an attempted robbery. The 54-year-old actor was taken to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after the knife attack. Saif suffered injuries on his neck, spine and hands, the hospital said. He is now out of danger and his condition is currently improving. The hospital is keeping an eye on Saif’s condition.
The attack happened around 2 am, when Saif was sleeping in his house. The intruder allegedly attacked a female employee of the Khan family and Saif intervened to save her. A scuffle ensued, resulting in six stab wounds to Saif’s spine, neck and hands.
According to Mumbai Crime Branch, the intruder entered Saif’s building by scaling the walls of the adjacent building.

After the attack, Saif was taken to Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, which is 2 kilometers away from his home.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan also own the Pataudi Palace, an apartment in Fortune Heights, two bungalows in Mumbai and a luxury bungalow in Gstaad, Switzerland, where the couple spends most of their winter holidays.
