The report shared that a Sony Pictures Entertainment spokesperson said in a statement: “We have previously expressed our support for Blake in relation to his work on and off the film. We reiterate that support today fully and strongly. Furthermore, we strongly condemn any reputational attack on him. Any such attacks have no place in our business or civil society.

Blake has also received support from his industry peers. In her lawsuit, Blake claimed that “things got so bad during filming, a meeting was held to address what she claims was a hostile work environment.” The lawsuit not only targets Baldoni, but also key figures in his production company, including head producer Jamie Heath, Wayfarer co-owner Steve Sarowitz, and several others.

The actor has also accused Baldoni of launching a “defamation campaign” against him to tarnish his reputation and public image. Meanwhile, Baldoni’s attorney, Brian Friedman, denied the claims, calling them “false, defamatory and intentionally cowardly with the intent to hurt the public.”
