Mumbai: The much-awaited film ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahie’ starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao has created a lot of excitement with the makers releasing new posters. Janhvi gave fans a new glimpse of her and Rajkummar’s characters on Instagram.

The first poster shows Janhvi and Rajkummar wearing Indian jerseys and standing close to each other. The Indian flag could be seen painted on their faces beaming with joy. In the second poster, Janhvi and Rajkumar are seen shouting and cheering happily in the stands of the cricket stadium.

The next poster shows the actors expressing their happiness amidst the crowd gathered to watch the game.

Sharing the poster, Janhvi wrote, ‘Meet Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, for them life is cricket and cricket is life more than cricket, Mr. Mahi only loves his lovely wife #MrAndMrsMahi in theaters on 31st May 2024.’
As soon as the posters were shared, fans and industry members started shouting in the comments section.
One user wrote, “Before GTA 6, we got another Dhoni film.” “Can’t wait,” another user commented.

Producer Karan Johar also posted on his Instagram, “Love, all out! Watch a glimpse of an imperfectly perfect partnership that transcends boundaries.”

Directed by Sharan Sharma, who is best known for his directorial debut ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’, ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahie’ marks the second collaboration between Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao after their successful stint in ‘Roohi’ .

The film promises to be an entertaining sports drama, offering audiences a compelling story with stellar performances from the lead actors. Originally scheduled to release in April, the sports drama is now set to release in theaters on May 31, 2024, as recently confirmed by Karan Johar.

Recently, Johar took to his Instagram handle and shared the exciting news with fans while expressing his excitement towards the project. In his announcement post, he stressed the importance of the film and described it as more than just a story, but an exploration of the obstacles posed by dreams and loved ones. He expressed his closeness to the project and eagerly awaits the opportunity to share more information with fans.
