Bhansali is like an artist, says Jayati. “He paints every frame. He has an eye to expand and he is fully involved in his work. He demands the same level of commitment from his actors. My eyes always followed him, I will look in awe because he set up a couch, adjusts a curtain in a curtain or the way an actor has a scarf.”
Bhansali even chooses even costumes and works on the color of clothes against light and makeup, says Jayati. “Observing him at work has been attractive and a great learning experience. I never felt out of place once, but was pushed towards excellence.”
