Jennifer Lopez’s first husband Ojani Noah recently alleged that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs played a role in the breakdown of his marriage with the pop star.
Lopez was married to Noah for less than a year, from February 1997 to January 1998. During a recent appearance on the Spanish-language talk show Despierta America, Noah claimed that the disgraced music mogul was partially to blame for their divorce. “Part of that divorce was Diddy’s fault,” he said.
Noah explained that problems in their marriage began when Lopez began collaborating with Combs on his debut album On the 6. “When Sony came and paid him millions, Puffy was [Combs]Who was going to be one of the producers of several tracks on the first album On The 6,” he said.

“I was opening my restaurant in Los Angeles and she was commuting between Miami and New York working on the album.”
Noah further alleged that after their separation, Lopez actively blocked his career opportunities. “I would ask Jennifer, ‘What did I do to you that you took me to court, you accused me, you lied, you made up falsehoods about me, and you called multiple companies to get me out. And the various television networks won’t give me work?” Noah recalled.
After separating from Noah, Lopez’s romantic life continued to make headlines.
JLo married dancer and actor Chris Judd, but their marriage ended in 2003. In 2004, she married singer Marc Anthony, with whom she has 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max. This marriage lasted until their divorce in 2014. Most recently, Lopez filed for divorce from her fourth husband, actor Ben Affleck, in August 2024.
Noah once told the Daily Mail in 2022, “At times I felt like Mr. Cinderella. She was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. “Initially I didn’t know who he was.”

“We fell in love when she was already famous. But during our marriage she became a megastar. It was too painful to talk about for years. I wanted to lie quietly and live my life.
Last month, Diddy was arrested on federal charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transporting persons to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is in custody at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center awaiting trial next May.
